John Pinette – Gluten Free – What No Bread or Pasta?!

John Pinette – Gluten Free –

What no Bread or Pasta ?! –

John Pinette was the Big Boy of the comedic community before he was taken from us prematurely. But you can enjoy his wonderful performances still to this day. Priceless!

Absolutely one of the funniest men on earth, His bits on Eating are legendary. Talking about all you can eat buffets, dining in Italy or as can be seen in this video “The Gluten Free Diet”. He always made me smile. Now he is entertaining Everybody in Heaven. Left us way too early. But thankfully we have him on tape.

As usual John has me crying watching this piece. He is just hysterical. I just love this guy.

For those who don’t know John he was an American actor, Broadway performer, and stand-up comedian. He toured the comedy club circuit beginning in the 1980s and appeared in cinema and on television. Besides stand-up, John did impressions of The Chipmunks, Elvis Presley, Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, Hervé Villechaize (Tattoo from Fantasy Island), an Ewok, actor Marlon Brando (notably Brando’s role in The Godfather), as well as various ethnic accents. He occasionally sang, for example “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, and “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” in stand-up routines.

Pinette got a break when asked to tour with Frank Sinatra. Pinette was a regular guest on The Tonight Show and The View.

Sadly John Pinette was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. on April 5, 2014, at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel in Pittsburgh. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said Pinette had been suffering from liver and heart disease. An autopsy was not performed, as Pinette’s personal doctor signed off on his cause of death as pulmonary embolism.
