Garlic Butter Shrimp
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 pounds shrimp peeled and deveined – with or without tails
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of half a lemon, plus more to taste
- Parsley
TOOLS YOU NEED
- Abbio Saute Pan
- Measuring spoons
- Cutting board
- Chef’s knife
PREP
- Mince garlic and set aside
- Peel, devein, and remove tails from shrimp as needed
- Rough chop parsley
RECIPE DIRECTIONS
- Melt 2 tablespoon butter in Saute Pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook 2 minutes on one side – do not touch while cooking as you want to get a nice sear!
- Flip and cook 90 seconds on the other side until JUST beginning to turn pink.
- Add in the remaining butter and lemon juice.
- Cook, while stirring, until the butter melts and the shrimp have cooked through and are no longer translucent.
- Remove from heat and, and add more lemon juice, salt or pepper as needed to taste.
