Scapece of carrots

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • Carrots 500 gr
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup of vinegar
  • olive oil
  • 1 hot pepper
  • oregano
  • salt, pepper.

PREPARATION

  1. Clean and wash the carrots, then boil them in plenty of boiling salted water, drain and cut into slices.
  2. In a pan fry the garlic cloves in olive oil, then remove it when it is golden
  3. pour carrots into pan  add the chopped hot pepper, salt and pepper and sprinkle with oregano.
  4. Drizzle with vinegar let it evaporate then turn off the heat.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
