Prosciutto and Burrata Stuffed Figs.


For 4 Person(s)

For the Figs:

  • arugula as a garnish

  • 10 fresh figs

  • 5 slices of Prosciutto, cut in half

  • 8 ounces Burrata cheese, you can use one of 8oz or 2-4oz ones

  • good quality extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

  • fresh black pepper as desired



  1. Lay a bed of Arugula on a plate

  2. Trim the stems off the figs. Using a sharp knife slice lengthways from the top down ensuring you don’t cut all the way to the bottom.  turn the fig and cut down again across the first cut also making sure you don’t cut through the bottom. Use your hands to gently pull open the fig quarters. Repeat with remaining figs.

  3. Arrange a piece of Prosciutto inside each Fig.

  4. Cut open the Burrata and using a spoon take out the stringy cheese inside, this is called the Stracciatella. Spoon some Stracciatella on top of the Prosciutto on each Fig.

  5. Drizzle the Stracciatella with a little bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sprinkle lightly with black pepper.

  6. Serve chilled.
