Grilled Chicken with Garlic Cream Sauce
INGREDIENTS
Serves 4 people

4 boneless chicken breasts

1/2 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 tsp of dried oregano
-
1 tsp of dried basil
-
3 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 Tbls butter
-
1 Tbls vegetable oil
-
1 Tbls of all purpose flower
-
1/2 cup of chicken broth
-
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
-
2 oz of cream cheese
-
1/2 cup of fresh grated Parmesan
PREPARATION

Season the chicken with the salt, pepper, oregano and basil.

Grill or broil the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on each side.

Place the chicken on a serving platter and keep warm.

In a medium size saucepan, sauté the garlic in the butter and oil for 2 minutes.

Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute more.

Stir in the chicken broth and cream and cook until thickened.

Stir in the cream cheese and Parmesan until melted.

Spoon over chicken breasts and serve the remaining sauce on the side.
